Narrative Investigation
A folk healer in 1970s rural Philippines. Your patients come with fevers, nightmares, and stories they only half-believe. The illness might be natural. It might not. The cure depends on knowing the difference.
Each case is an investigation into the person, the place, and the story behind what went wrong.

2.5D Stealth-Comedy
Juanita is a manananggal. By day, she works a BPO job. By night, she splits apart and takes to the streets. Find a place to stash your legs, hunt for someone to feed on, and make it home before dawn. Tanods, stray dogs, CCTV, and the neighborhood marites are all in your way.
The hard part isn't the feeding. It's what your lower half gets up to while you're gone.

Hiwaga Games is an indie studio from the Philippines making original games grounded in specific places, real traditions, and the stories around them.
Our work is research-led and story-first. We work closely with the material: the traditions, the places, the people. Then we design around it.
We are currently developing our first two titles, Albularyo and Manananggal, with plans for more games set in the same world.
